The proposed development seeks to deliver up to 200 dwellings and significant levels of public open space and sustainable drainage. A new vehicular access is proposed off Swinehill as well as potential pedestrian accesses to the east of the site.
The application will be made in Outline, so details relating to Layout, Landscaping, Scale and Appearance will be addressed at Reserved Matters stage in the future. Therefore, at outline stage, the key matters for approval will be around the principles of development and a ‘Parameter Plan’ will be submitted to define elements such as the extent of development, the location of the new vehicular access and points of pedestrian and cycle connectivity.
The submitted information will also include a Design and Access Statement that will present an Illustrative Layout. The Illustrative Layout Plan is provided below. This will be used to demonstrate one way in which the proposed new homes and associated green space and infrastructure could come forward in compliance with the Parameter Plan.
